The McTimoney approach to chiropractic was developed by the late John McTimoney over 50 years ago and is taught only at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Abingdon, near Oxford. It is well known for being a precise, whole body approach to chiropractic care.

THE TREATMENT
The McTimoney method is renowned for its singularly gentle approach and for treating the whole body at each session. The adjustments are precise, deft and very quick, resulting in the minimum of patient discomfort.
A new patient appointment lasts 1 hour 15 minutes. Follow up appointments last 35-40 minutes. The first follow-up appointment is usually scheduled at an interval of one week. Subsequent follow-up appointments are spaced at an appropriate interval to maintain the momentum of improvement for the condition being treated.
